We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Organizational Development Advisor to join our L&OD team within Human Resources. This role will be based in our Torrey Pines campus in San Diego, CA.

The L&OD Advisor is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to enhance employee skills and organizational performance. Will assess learning needs, develop training strategies, and facilitate learning experiences, working with various stakeholders to ensure training aligns with business objectives.
This role is integral to an organization's success by ensuring employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs efficiently and contribute to overall growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In coordination with the L&OD team:
+ Deliver existing training programs both in-person and virtually.
+ Support and manage leadership programs to include budget, vendor relationships, and participant communications.
+ Examine existing programs for continuous improvement opportunities.
+ Collaborate with Organizational Development with a focus on improving the overall effectiveness and health of the organization by enhancing individual employee skills, knowledge, and achieving broader L&OD goals.
+ Develop methods for measuring effectiveness of all learning programs.
+ Partner with HR professionals and other leaders to develop, assess, facilitate and/or lead new courses and programs that support business objectives and strategy.
+ Act as trusted advisors, leveraging their expertise to help clients navigate challenges, achieve their goals, and improve their overall performance
+ Identify issues and develop solutions to a variety of problems of diverse scope and complexity.
+ Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
+ Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
+ Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications:
+ Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training or a related discipline and ten or more years of progressive professional experience in a corporate Human Resources department. May substitute a certificate in human resources from a recognized organization and equivalent experience in lieu of education.
+ Demonstrates an extensive technical expertise and application of human resource principles, theories, concepts and practices, with the ability to organize, schedule, conduct, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones with some experience in project leadership.
+ Must be customer focused and posses:
+ the ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop innovative solutions to a variety of complex matters of diverse scope and nature;
+ excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings to a variety of audiences including senior management and senior external parties;
+ excellent interpersonal skills to influence and guide all levels of employees, including senior managers and senior external parties;
+ the ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information;
+ the ability to initiate, plan, and manage projects; (6) the ability to represent the company on external projects;
+ excellent computer skills.
+ Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
