    Position Summary...

     

    As the Director, Business Support - eComm Strategy (Sam's Club), you will drive the vision, strategy, and value proposition for our eCommerce business. This role is focused on scaling growth across club-fulfilled channels while defining and shaping the long-term future of our ship-to-home business. You’ll work across functions to deliver transformation initiatives, build compelling business cases, and create new revenue opportunities that meet more member needs, more often. Acting as a thought leader, you will shape how eCommerce integrates with new club openings, remodels, product roadmaps, and member experiences, ensuring sustainable and accelerated growth.

     

    What you'll do...

     

    + **Lead strategy & vision** : Define and evolve the long-term eCommerce strategy, value proposition, and growth pathways, moving beyond day-to-day operations to unlock scale and performance.

    + **Develop business cases & frameworks** : Build clear recommendations, business cases, and strategic frameworks that support transformation initiatives and position eCommerce as a key growth pillar.

    + **Accelerate eComm penetration** : Partner cross-functionally to design and execute strategy for new club openings and remodels—developing a repeatable playbook to reach long-range plan targets.

    + **Cross-functional influence** : Collaborate with product, experience, and operations teams to embed eComm priorities into roadmaps, processes, and club strategies.

    + **Enable leadership alignment** : Drive quarterly offsites, leadership forums, and strategic squad initiatives to influence priorities and accelerate decision-making.

    + **Identify growth opportunities** : Develop strategies for new revenue streams and enhanced member engagement across channels.

    + **Build culture & team dynamics** : Strengthen eComm team culture through associate engagement initiatives, leadership meetings, and collaborative ways of working.

    + **Lead & develop talent** : Manage and mentor direct reports (initially one), building a team capable of supporting ongoing transformation.

     

    What you’ll bring...

     

    + Proven experience in **strategy, business transformation, or corporate development** , preferably in eCommerce, retail, or digital platforms.

    + Strong ability to **develop business cases, evaluate new opportunities, and deliver executive-level recommendations** .

    + Track record of **leading cross-functional initiatives** , influencing senior stakeholders, and aligning diverse teams toward a common vision.

    + Deep understanding of **eCommerce growth levers** , member engagement, and digital/omni-channel retail dynamics.

    + Exceptional **strategic thinking** with the ability to balance long-term vision and near-term priorities.

    + Skilled in **driving organizational culture and team engagement** , with demonstrated leadership experience.

    + Excellent **communication and presentation skills** , able to simplify complex ideas for executive audiences.

    The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

    Minimum Qualifications...

    Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics, Computer Science, or related field and 5 years’ experience in operations, retail, project management, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in operations, retail, project management, or related area.
