Job Summary and Qualifications

+ Under the direction of the Director of Surgical Services, you will assume management responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Operating Rooms, CV Operating Rooms, and Endoscopy

+ You will assist in development, interpretation, and implement department policies & procedure

+ You will ensure unit compliance with all regulatory agencies and the State of Nevada Nurse Practice Act

+ You will mentor employees in quality and patient satisfaction goals for the clinical area(s) of responsibility

+ You will participate in annual budget development, implementation and maintenance ensuring operations are managed in unit(s) within established guidelines and delivering quality patient care

What qualifications you will need:

+ Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; BSN required

+ Masters’ Degree in Nursing or related health field preferred

+ Current acute clinical knowledge required. Minimum of 1-year leadership/management experience required. Recent acute clinical experience- minimum of 3 years in area of Surgical Services area

+ Current Nevada license to practice nursing; BLS required

+ ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 90 days of hire/ transfer
