    Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Under the supervision of the lead nurse, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting the physicians and other members of the healthcare team with implementation of wound treatment plans. The incumbent will perform follow up nursing assessment of patient's conditions and report findings as appropriate. In addition, the incumbent will function as an intake/discharge nurse during clinic times.

     

    Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    + One year recent outpatient experience in a medical environment required

    + Current California LVN license

    + Current American Heart Association BLS

    + Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Wound Care experience

    Pay Range

    $35.30 - $40.69 /hour
