    R&D Electrical Engineer Co-Op

    YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

    + Designing and testing electronic circuitry;

    + Generating test plans and protocols;

    + Analyzing test results and composing test reports;

    + Engineers will also troubleshoot problems during testing, assume ownership of specific test methods and sub-modules, and routinely provide read-outs to the larger hardware team about the progress of their work.

    WHO YOU ARE

    Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

    Required Qualifications:

    + Enrollment in Electrical Engineering degree program;

    + Completion of at least second year of a Bachelors degree;

    + Experience with basic electronic test equipment;

    + Classwork in circuits, hardware design, physics, and statistics;

    + Attention to detail, positive attitude, good work ethic;

    + Ability to independently troubleshoot;

    + Teamwork experience through coursework, lab work, and/or internship.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience in MathCAD, Matlab, and schematic entry tools;

    + Medical device classwork.

     

    Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $23.20 to $44.20. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary (or salary range) is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
