You'll collaborate with colleagues across the Sales team - advising and supporting on client engagements throughout the critically important early phases of the sales cycle, and helping to lead prospects to our award winning Storage Solutions.

Your role and responsibilities
Digital Sales Specialist (DSS) is responsible for identifying, validating, and progressing sales opportunities with Ecosystem Business Partners.
* Forecasting and Deal Closures: Predict deal closures by understanding client buying cycles and communicating forecasts effectively.
* Up/Cross-Selling: Help your team identify up/cross-sell opportunities within your territory.
* New Business Campaigns: Activate targeted new business campaigns with IBM Marketing and Sales leadership.
* Collaborative Solutions: Collaborate to create use-cases and proofs of concept in response to client RFIs, RFPs.
* Compelling Presentations: Present compelling high-level value propositions to clients to drive adoption of IBM Storage Solutions.
*This role requires the ability to be in Brookhaven, GA - IBM Office four days each week.
Required technical and professional expertise
* 3+ years of Experience
* Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
* Experience in consultative sales for medium use-cases.
* Experience with prospecting and making cold calls
*
Experience identifying and progressing sales opportunities from inception to closure. * Proficient in digital sales tools such as phone, CRM, social media, and email.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and achieving business results.
* Demonstrate success in lead generation and sales development within the technology or similarly fast-moving, complex category.
* Exhibit a proven track record of consistently meeting targets in fast-paced environments while collaborating with others.
* Plan, Manage, and Execute in an assigned Territory with existing, new, and whitespace clients.
* Achieve Key Performance Indicators - call volume, opportunity identification, revenue attainment.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Storage Brand Knowledge: Possess Storage brand knowledge to serve as a trusted client advisor (training on IBM's Storage brand portfolio offerings will be provided).
Knowledge of Sales Tools (ex. Linked-in, Sales Navigator, CRM).
