• Quality Engineer

    US Tech Solutions (El Paso, TX)


    Job Description:

    + Implement and sustain Lean and Six Sigma concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams and other functional departments.

    + Develop manufacturing PFMEAs, Control Plans, and identify opportunities for improving tooling and processes.

    + Stay updated on the latest methods and technologies, and assess their relevance within our manufacturing and assembly operations.

    + Monitor and report key metrics, and devise improvement plans.

    Responsibilities:

    + Participate in and lead continual improvement activities such as 5S, SPS, Six Sigma, and ISO to enhance the quality system.

    + Ensure timely completion of action items from SPS and ISO audits.

    + Assist in establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems.

    + Contribute to and lead Digital Quality implementation within the plant.

    + Prepare Pareto charts and 8D reports as necessary.

    + Contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction and achieving quality goals through project and process implementation.

    Experience:

    + Proficient in Lean and Six Sigma techniques, as well as statistical methods.

    + Highly desired mechanical aptitude.

    + Must possess the ability to lead and collaborate with others.

    Skills:

    + Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools, 5S, 8D, Kaizen events, Six Sigma tools, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, Process Auditing, Process Capability analysis, ISO, and Poka Yoke design is desired.

    + Strong background in Quality, Industrial, and/or Manufacturing Engineering.

    Education:

    + Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field is required.
