Overview

Pate Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. This is a great opportunity to be a critical member of the patient care team and provide valuable support to our patients. Take the next step in your career and apply today!

Responsibilities

+ Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist

+ Assist Physical Therapist in the execution of patient evaluations and complex treatment procedures

+ Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by Physical Therapist

+ Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development

+ Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided

+ Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the Physical Therapy Practice Ace and Code of Ethics

+ Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

+ Associates degree from an accredited college or university required

+ Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas required

+ Must pass all pre-employment and employment verifications
