    The Nevada Community School District is looking for a part time Food Service General Worker to join our team at NCSD!This position begins with the 2025-2026 school year with expected hours between 7am-2pm Monday through Friday. Training will be provided.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in cooking, preparing and the serving of daily meals from the planned menu

    + Assist with cleaning and following food safety procedures

    + Ability to assist in filling out proper production records and food safety logs

    + Maintain compliance with federal regulations regarding all School Lunch Programs

    + Interact with all personnel, students, building patrons, federal/state inspectors, vendors and delivery persons with a positive can do attitude.

    + Ability to operate all kitchen equipment

    + Must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand on your feet for long periods of time

    + Check in students at meal service on POS system

    + Prepare lunch account deposits

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Education / Experience

    + High school diploma / GED

    + Food service experience preferred

    + ServSafe Certification - Recommended, but District will provide paid training to obtain after 6 months of service.
