Buyer – Drive Supply Chain Success in a Growing Manufacturing Environment | $28-42hr/hr | Maple Grove, MN

Summary:

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-oriented and driven **Buyer** to join our team in **Maple Grove, MN** . In this pivotal role, you’ll secure the critical parts and components that keep our manufacturing operations running smoothly, all while building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams. What You’ll Do:

+ Place and manage purchase orders to ensure timely procurement of materials.

+ Resolve PO receiving issues, identify root causes, and communicate solutions.

+ Maintain accurate purchasing data and parameters in the ERP system.

+ Monitor production shortage reports, expedite materials, and follow up with suppliers.

+ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet supply chain deadlines.

+ Track supplier performance and negotiate favorable terms.

+ Address quality issues with suppliers and partner with finance to resolve payment discrepancies.

+ Represent the company with professionalism in all vendor and stakeholder interactions.

What We’re Looking For:

Required:

+ Associate’s degree plus 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of relevant experience.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

+ Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

+ Excellent communication and follow-through.

+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

+ Supply Chain/CPM/APICS certification.

+ Experience with INFOR XA ERP.

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Access.

**Pay Details:** $36.00 per hour
