    At Five Star Breaktime Solutions dining center, a lead cook provides excellent quality meal options while cooking in a fast paced environment. Dining center cooks are responsible for ensuring that the highest standards met for all food prepared and served to the corporate dining client.

     

    Account Location: Pilgrims Pride (Live Oak, FL)

    Dining Center Cook responsibilities include:

    + Reads recipes and/or product directions.

    + Estimates food requirements.

    + Keeps records and requisition for supplies/equipment as needed.

    + Operates a variety of kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain, seasons and knead foodstuffs for cooking, serving and storing.

    + Assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.

    + Inspects workstations for compliance with service standards.

    + Will have cooking responsibilities, i.e., cook vegetables and meats

    + Complies with all HACCP and Health Department policies and procedures.

    General Requirements:

    + Must be able to lift 35lbs+; on a repetitive basis and have the ability to reach, bend, stoop on a frequent basis.

    + Must be able to consent to a pre-employment background check.

    + Must be able to consent to a drug screen.

    + Ability to follow workplace safety policies and guidelines.

    Position Information:

    + Status: Full-Time

    + Work Days: Monday thru Friday

    + Shifts Available: 2:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M. (2nd Shift)

    + Pay: Starting at $17.00/ Hour (Based on experience)
