You'll collaborate with colleagues across the Sales team - advising and supporting on client engagements throughout the critically important early phases of the sales cycle, and helping to lead prospects to our award winning cloud solutions.

* Deal Closure Prediction: Predicting deal closures and effectively communicating forecasts.
* Upsell and Cross-sell Support: Supporting colleagues in identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
* Campaign Activation: Activating new business campaigns in collaboration with IBM leadership.
* Use-Case & Proof of Concept Design: Collaborating to design use-cases and proofs of concept.
* Value Proposition Presentation: Presenting compelling value propositions to clients
Your role and responsibilities
Digital Sales Specialist has the following responsibilities:
- Achieve the sales target with respect portfolios.
- Drive opportunity identification, progression, and closure with Business Partners.
- Leverage an advanced technology stack and deep skills, accountable for demonstrating and driving an assigned set of digital sales focus products.
- Develop industry use cases & sales plays.
- Plan & manage assigned territories, specific clients and whitespace.
- Proactively contact via outbound calling and digital outreach targeting prospects for identifying business opportunities.
- Leverage virtual collaboration tools to demonstrate select offerings and create an innovative vision of client success
- Professionally communicate with all appropriate levels of decision makers and influencers
- Use CRM and Sales analytics tools for targeting, prospecting and logging clients information
- Lead digital social activities (LinkedIn, Facebook, Blog & etc.)
- Key performance indicators include period revenue and OI(opportunity Identification) creation, with a specific focus on new client acquisition.
Required technical and professional expertise
* 4-8+ years of sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
* Proven ability to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close complex sales deals.
* Experience in solution selling and consultative sales approaches.
* Ability to engage with stakeholders up to C-level in client organizations.
* Strong collaboration skills with account managers, presales teams, and channel partners.
* Demonstrated success in pipeline development and campaign execution.
Preferred technical and professional experience
* 2+ years experience in storage hardware/software in a technical role or sales role.
* Experience with major storage vendors such as Dell, Hitachi, EMC, Oracle, HP.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms and open-source technologies (e.g., Linux, containers, Kubernetes).
* Understanding of storage solutions for AI workloads and hybrid cloud environments.
* Technical certifications (e.g., ITIL, CCNP, PMP, TCP/IP, CISCO) are often valued.
