    Senior Tax Analyst

    JOB SUMMARY: This role is responsible for assisting with the preparation of the Company's tax provision, tax compliance, fixed assets, and other business support. Specifically includes calculating M adjustments, preparing provision and audit schedules, and maintaining the tax fixed asset ledger.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

    • Prepare/assist with the Company's quarterly and annual global income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, including book/tax differences, reconciliations, audit schedules, forecasting, and planning models.

    • Manage tax fixed assets in BNA software. Process monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reports and reconciliations.

    • Assist in the preparation of the consolidated US federal income tax return and federal pro forma returns.

    • Research, analysis, and interpretation of existing and proposed or enacted legislation with respect to federal, state, and local tax law. This includes applying research and analysis to implement tax initiatives and projects.

    • Assist with tax automation initiatives and ongoing process improvement initiatives.

    • Perform ad hoc projects as needed.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree

     

    YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 4+ years

     

    YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: NA CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: CPA Required, Masters Degree in Tax Preferred

    SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

    • Experience with tax accounting under ASC 740

    • Experience preparing US federal and state income tax returns for large consolidated groups

    • Working knowledge of tax compliance and provision systems (CorpTax preferred) and other applicable software applications (BNA Fixed Assets, Alteryx, etc.)

    • Strong communication skills, with both tax and non-tax personnel

    • Strong technical research skills, experience with research tools (CCH, Checkpoint, etc.)

    • Problem solving and analytical skills, detail-oriented, able prioritize tasks and work independently
