    The Senior Test Technician plays a key role in assembling, configuring, and testing advanced electronic and mechanical signage systems. This hands-on position involves gathering components, wiring PCBAs, integrating hardware, loading software, and performing comprehensive system tests. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills and attention to detail to ensure each unit meets performance standards and design specifications. Projects include large-scale LED and motor-controlled message signs used in highway systems and fuel station displays.

     

    + Basic Linux command line usage

    + Embedded systems

    + Microcontrollers

    + Serial communication protocols RS2332, RS485, Ethernet, SPI and IC2

    + PCBA test

    + Embedded firmware

    + Thermal and Salt Fog Test Chambers

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + Ability to read schematics

    + Ability to read wiring diagrams

    + Troubleshooting skills using lab equipment such as logic analyzers and o-scopes

    + Write technical reports

    + Create test plans and documentation

    + Validate products against standards documents

    + Troubleshoot electrical and electronic failures to the PCBA

    + LabView programming & set-up for pcba test

    + Experience generating 4 or 5 corner temperature / humidity test for a thermal chamber

    + Can read a Psychromatic chart to determine the temperature / humidity corners

    + Familiar with Photometric Analysis and Environmental Controls

    + Microsoft Office Suite familiarity

    + Ability to work on several projects simultaneously

    + Flexible attitude fostering the ability to work closely with others

    Compensation: $60 k - $70k
