    DESCRIPTION

    We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Support Associate to join our team specializing in Manufacturing Operations for our Distribution Business in **Ankeny, IA**

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    + Perform basic non-production activities that support manufacturing processes in accordance with quality, safety, and productivity requirements.

    + Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards by reporting hazards, incidents, and ensuring the use of proper protective equipment.

    + Support quality initiatives by following standard work, raising quality concerns, and assisting with inspections.

    + Demonstrate competency in core work skills while maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.

    + Assist production technicians by unboxing, arranging, and delivering parts to work bays.

    + Support production leads by picking and delivering parts as needed.

    + Operate forklifts and parts pickers safely to move and manage materials.

    + Apply continuous improvement practices to enhance quality, safety, processes, and team development.

    + Learn and apply the Cummins Operating System (COS) while collaborating effectively with team members.

    + Remain flexible and perform other duties to meet manufacturing goals.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    + Forklift and parts picker experience required.

    + Basic computer skills required.

    + Strong communication skills required.

    + Experience using an operating system (e.g., SAP) preferred.

    + Ability to collaborate and build strong working relationships across teams.

    + Willingness to engage in self-development, training, and continuous learning opportunities.

    + Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education, Licenses, Certifications:

    High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

     

    This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
