*Fauquier Health*is a 97-bed acute care hospital offering surgical services (including robotics), a 24-hour Emergency Department, extensive medical imaging capabilities, an Intensive Care Unit and much, much more. The Fauquier Health system offers patient care for a variety of specialty services including Orthopedics and Spine, a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and robotic-assisted surgery. The fourth floor of the hospital is devoted to our Family Birthing Center and Intermediate Care Nursery.**

*How you’ll contribute *

An Inventory Control Pharmacy Technician who excels in this role:

* Manages inventory levels, sets reorder points, and procures medications and supplies at the most economical cost, including controlled substances. Handles medication recalls, ensuring removal, return, and proper documentation.

* Submits orders to vendors and direct accounts, expedites backorders and communicates shortages to staff.

* Reconciles invoices and resolves billing issues with vendors.

* Serves as a liaison to the Pharmacy Director, promoting product standardization and servings as a resources for departments on vendor/product selection.

*What we’re looking for - *

Applicants should be registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Virginia (CPhT)

• 5 years’ experience as a hospital pharmacy technician is preferred.

• Previous pharmacy purchasing experience is a plus.
