    Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Weekend Package CT Technologist.

     

    As a CT Technologist at MercyOne, you will complete ambulatory computed tomography exams and procedures are performed under the medical direction of the radiologist in a highly technical and professional manner.

     

    + Performs daily operations of CT exams on scheduled shifts as assigned.

    + Operates CT equipment in a safe and knowledgeable manner.Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

    + Communicates effectively and in a timely manner with patients, other staff, radiologists, students and other management.

    + Actively listens and positively accepts change and is able to deal with stressful situations.

    + Provides patient/family or caregiver education and counseling in recognition and solution of physical, emotional, and environmental health problems.

    + Utilizes correct process for patient identification. Right patient, right exam, right time.

    + Participates as directed in QA activities, maintains current relevant documentation.Works collaboratively with radiologists to maintain quality in every aspect of CT services.

    Schedule:

    + Weekend Package 9a-9p Fri, Sat, Sun

    General Requirements:

    + Previous CT experience preferred. CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) preferred.

    + Maintains active registry status.

    + Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License

    + Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.

    + Maintains Basic Life Support qualification

    Education:

    + Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
