    Our client, a dynamic manufacturing organization, is seeking a Tool Room Clerk to join their team. As a Tool Room Clerk, you will be part of the operations supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a basic mechanical aptitude which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Tool Room Clerk

    **Location:** Mcallen, TX

    **Pay Range:** $14 per hour

    **Shift:** 6 AM - 5 PM, Sunday to Saturday

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Manage the inventory, maintenance, and distribution of tools and equipment.

    + Issue tools and equipment to workers or students and maintain accurate records.

    + Inspect and store returned tools and equipment, ensuring functionality.

    + Promote and maintain a safe working environment while ensuring cleanliness.

    + Assist with administrative support and tooling database management.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

    + 2–5 years of experience in a machine shop, manufacturing, or educational lab setting (preferred).

    + Proficient in using inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges).

    + Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and safety labels.

    + Strong organizational and time management skills.
