    Our client, a leader in semiconductor manufacturing, is seeking a Facility Manager – New Plant Construction to join their team. As a Facility Manager, you will be part of the construction and infrastructure development team supporting the establishment of a new manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Facility Manager – New Plant Construction

    **Location:** El Paso, Texas

    **Pay Range:** $110,000 - $140,000 base DOE plus bonus/benefits, etc.

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Lead the end-to-end development of facility infrastructure for a new manufacturing plant, from construction planning to operational readiness.

    + Act as the primary liaison with architects, contractors, engineering consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment between facility design and operational needs.

    + Review engineering drawings and construction plans; provide feedback on utility layouts, space planning, and critical systems (e.g., electrical, HVAC, fire protection).

    + Manage construction schedules, cost control, and contractor deliverables to ensure project completion on time and within budget.

    + Oversee the installation and commissioning of core plant systems, including power supply, clean/dry utilities, compressed air, HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience in facilities, plant construction, or industrial infrastructure projects.

    + Demonstrated experience leading new plant buildouts (greenfield or brownfield) in a manufacturing environment.

    + 5+ years in a supervisory role.

    + Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.

    + Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
