Under the supervision of the Director of Training & Safety, the 19-A Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the requirements set forth in Article 19-A of The Vehicle and Traffic Law, and Part 6 of the Commissioner's Regulations of the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles.

Responsibility Profile:

+ Create 19-A files for new operators and maintain and update all files as necessary.

+ Schedule and monitor required physicals, fitness-for-duty, and return-to-work evaluations.

+ Conduct road tests and defensive driving observations.

+ Generate and review weekly reports for all Federal and State requirements.

Qualifications

+ NY State CDL A, B, or C license with P & S endorsements.

+ Working knowledge of all industry-related laws and regulations.

+ Computer proficient in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel).

+ Possess excellent communication and customer service skills (both verbal and written).

+ Organized and detailed work habits.

+ Certified 19A Examiner.

+ Maintain and manage all 19-A paperwork and prepare for DMV audits.

+ Submit all required 19-A documentation to the Bus Driver Unit of DMV as required.

Starting Hourly Rate: $28.00 per hour
