Job Title: 1st Shift Forklift High Reach Operator

Job Description

We are seeking skilled forklift operators to support our production team by supplying assemblers with necessary materials and transporting completed parts to the shipping area. You may also work in the shipping and receiving area, loading trucks with completed parts for delivery. Operators must be proficient in using both stand-up and sit-down forklifts, depending on their designated area.

Responsibilities

+ Supply assemblers with materials needed for production.

+ Transport completed parts to the shipping area for delivery.

+ Load trucks in the shipping and receiving area with completed parts.

+ Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

+ Ability to pass a forklift test proving safe and effective equipment operation.

+ Experience in material handling and warehouse operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in shipping and receiving.

+ Strong attention to safety and ability to work in tight quarters.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and customer-focused, with tight quarters requiring strong attention to safety. The facility is not climate-controlled, meaning it can be warm in the summer and cool in the winter. This is a union environment, and candidates will be expected to pay union dues. Shifts available are 1st shift (Monday-Thursday, 6:30 am-5 pm, with possible extra hours) and 3rd shift (Monday night-Thursday night, 7:00 pm-5:30 am).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.21 - $21.21/hr.
