Assembly Technician

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our expanding assembly team for a new second shift at our Harlan, IA facility. This role is crucial to help us meet the increased demand and address our backlog. This project is expected to last between 3 to 6 months, with the potential for a permanent position based on performance and demand.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble cable products with precision and accuracy.

+ Utilize mechanical and electrical experience to enhance assembly processes.

+ Operate hand tools and power tools efficiently.

+ Interpret and work from blueprints and bills of materials.

+ Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.

+ Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

+ Capability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in assembly and manufacturing environments.

+ Strong understanding of production processes and quality standards.

Work Environment

This position is based in a machine shop environment, which includes exposure to fumes and noise. The facility is equipped with modern manufacturing spaces, and you will be working either first shift or second shift, Monday through Thursday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harlan, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
