Job Description:

This role is primarily focused on delivering specialty items, while also incorporating significant warehouse duties. Responsibilities include picking orders, putting away orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. The driving component involves managing delivery routes up to 50 miles away to customers purchasing electrical products, using 24 and 26 ft box trucks. Warehouse duties constitute the majority of the position, with prior notice provided before driving tasks.

Responsibilities:

+ Safely operate a 24 and 26 ft box truck to deliver goods to customers and company locations.

+ Manage own delivery route efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

+ Perform warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, loading, unloading, and maintaining inventory.

+ Utilize RF scan gun for inventory management.

+ Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

+ Collaborate with warehouse team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Essential Skills:

+ At least 6 months of driving experience in a non-CDL box truck.

+ Minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience.

+ Ability to complete warehouse tasks such as picking and packing.

+ Customer service oriented.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

+ Valid driver's license.

+ At least 1 year of experience with box trucks.

+ Experience with logistics and transport.

Work Environment

Located in Harrisburg, PA, this position offers a dynamic work environment with a shift starting between 5:00 AM and 5:30 AM, requiring flexibility for driving assignments that may begin as early as 2:00 AM. Employees are expected to wear steel toe boots, jeans, and shirts or hoodies, with company shirts provided upon permanent employment. The position involves working at least 8 hours per shift, with potential for backup driving roles.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $41600.00/yr.
