Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of the facility. Your duties will involve general labor work to keep working areas clean, greasing and oiling conveyors, cleaning up spoils, and ensuring all material piles are correctly stocked and located. This role involves using a 5-yard bucket loader and performing basic preventative maintenance like greasing conveyor belts and cleaning filters. Safety is a top priority, and compliance with lockout tagout procedures is mandatory when working on equipment. This entry-level position offers rapid advancement opportunities to leadership roles.

Responsibilities

+ Perform general labor work to maintain cleanliness and order in the facility.

+ Grease and oil conveyors regularly to ensure smooth operation.

+ Clean up material spoils and ensure all material piles are correctly located and stocked.

+ Operate a 5-yard bucket loader for maintenance tasks.

+ Conduct basic preventative maintenance, including greasing conveyor belts and cleaning filters.

+ Adhere to safety protocols, including lockout tagout procedures when servicing equipment.

+ 1+ years of relevant experience

+ Loader and/or skid steer experience is a plus

+ OSHA Training is a plus

Work Environment

This position requires working in an outdoor environment, exposed to all weather elements typical of Indiana. The conditions can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The work environment is often dirty and can be dusty at times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mooresville, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
