    Job Title: 1st Shift Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. This includes loaders, shears, grapples, skid steers, forklifts, and tractor/trailer equipment. You will perform daily preventive maintenance on equipment, maintain necessary paperwork, and ensure compliance with proper PPE at all times.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.

    + Perform daily preventive maintenance on equipment.

    + Perform physical duties associated with the operation and maintain necessary paperwork.

    + Ensure compliance with proper PPE at all times.

    + Prepare necessary documentation such as Bill of Ladings, Work Orders, Purchase Orders, and Tool Orders.

    + Work with conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, and PLCs.

    + Perform welding, torch cutting, grinding, and weld set-up.

    + Set up and break down machinery.

    + Assist operations by operating balers and heavy equipment occasionally.

    + Make decisions, solve problems, and handle high-stress situations calmly and safely.

    + Work independently in the absence of direct supervision.

    + Maintain a clean and organized working environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Electrical troubleshooting and repair

    + Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repair

    + Preventive maintenance

    + PLC troubleshooting and control

    + Industrial maintenance

    + Welding and grinding

    + Schematic and blueprint reading

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    + Strong problem-solving abilities

    + Ability to sort and identify tools and parts

    + Willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
