    Test Engineering Technician

    Overview:

    We are hiring a Test Engineering Technician to support environmental testing and inspection of spaceflight hardware. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical testing within a fast-paced aerospace environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform environmental testing on spaceflight hardware, including static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration

    + Inspect mechanical and electrical components using tools such as torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters

    + Assist in writing technical work instructions for testing and assembly procedures

    + Support and adhere to quality management systems, specifically AS9100 standards

    Must-Have Skills:

    + Environmental testing experience across various methods

    + Proficiency with inspection tools and measurement devices

    + Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards

    + Ability to follow and contribute to technical work instructions

    Nice-to-Have Skills:

    + Previous experience in the aerospace industry

    + Exposure to RF systems or space antenna technologies

    Work Environment:

    + Manufacturing and testing environment with tight program deliverables

    + Collaborative team focused on precision and innovation in space applications

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $44.00/hr.
