    Job Title: Civil Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and experienced Civil Engineer (EIT) to join our growing Design Management Services team in Virginia. This role involves working closely with a diverse team of engineers, designers, and specialists to deliver projects to various clients, including municipalities, counties, commercial, and industrial entities.

    Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with a team of engineers, designers, and specialists to deliver engineering projects.

    + Utilize engineering and design software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS, to prepare engineering and design documents.

    + Conduct on-site visits as necessary to assess project requirements.

    + Engage in stormwater management, drainage, and grading tasks.

    + Ensure compliance with erosion and sediment control standards.

    + Communicate effectively with team members and clients.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Civil 3D, design, and stormwater management.

    + Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.

    + 2-5 years of relevant experience in municipal, state, and land development engineering.

    + Active Engineer in Training (EIT) certification for the State of Virginia or ability to complete within 6 months of joining.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Erosion & Sediment Control Experience.

    + Interest and ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license when eligible.

    Work Environment

    Work requires flexibility with 3 days in the office and 2 days out of the office, depending on workload. The standard workweek is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. The team values career growth and development in a close-knit, supportive, and team-oriented atmosphere.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
