Job Description
Join our team as a mid-level Civil Engineer in Indianapolis, working on our dynamic Civil Transportation Team. Our mission is to deliver engineering solutions that enhance everyday life, from the roads we travel to the water we consume. We are looking for a motivated individual who can bring basic concepts and ideas to completion with minimal supervision and who thrives in a team-based environment.
Responsibilities
+ Design and develop transportation infrastructure including roadways, intersections, and pedestrian pathways.
+ Conduct feasibility studies and environmental assessments for transportation projects.
+ Perform hydraulic modeling and drainage design for roadway systems.
+ Coordinate utility relocations and subsurface utility designs (sanitary, water, storm).
+ Prepare construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, environmental, and CAD professionals.
+ Support permitting processes and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
+ Conduct field visits for site analysis, construction observation, and documentation.
+ Assist in project planning, scheduling, and client coordination to meet deadlines and deliverables.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
+ 3 or more years of experience in transportation design, including hydraulic modeling and subsurface utilities design.
+ Possession of an EIT and on track for professional engineer licensure.
+ Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, stormwater management, and drainage systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ PE License or a willingness to obtain it in the future.

This is a Consultant to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $43.27/hr.
