Description We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to manage payroll processes in a dynamic environment within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in handling multi-state payroll and certified payroll for a large workforce.

Responsibilities:

• Process full-cycle payroll for a workforce exceeding 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Manage multi-state payroll operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to process payroll efficiently and resolve any system-related issues.

• Handle certified payroll reporting and ensure adherence to industry-specific requirements.

• Administer union payroll, including deductions, benefits, and related reporting.

• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure proper documentation for audits.

• Address and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.

• Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.

• Provide support during payroll audits and assist in generating necessary reports. Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing for large organizations.

• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll management.

• Familiarity with certified payroll processes within the construction industry.

• Experience handling payroll for unionized employees, including benefits and deductions.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in payroll recordkeeping.

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
