Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The role involves assisting pharmacists in a Central Fill pharmacy setting, ensuring efficient operation and accurate medication preparation and dispensing.

Responsibilities

+ Assist the pharmacist in Central Fill pharmacy operations, including manual entry and picking, replenishing products for filling, and packing.

+ Operate automated sorting and counting equipment to fill bottles and cells with prescribed tablets and capsules.

+ Apply prescription labels to bottles and boxes and utilize computer systems for inventory management.

+ Prepare and dispense medication under the supervision of a pharmacist.

+ Receive and store incoming supplies, count stock, and maintain inventory records using computer systems.

+ Clean equipment and complete forms as directed.

+ Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy operations experience.

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent.

+ Tennessee State Pharmacy Technician License

+ NO CPhT Required!!

+ Reliable transportation.

Work Schedule

+ Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm

+ Saturday and Monday from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
