Job Title: Construction Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in project management and construction processes. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience managing real estate or construction projects as an owner’s representative or General Contractor. This role requires familiarity with building codes and regulations and will involve constant communication with the client's team. The role also includes budgeting, cost estimation, financial tracking, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
+ Manage real estate or construction projects effectively as an owner’s representative or General Contractor.
+ Maintain constant communication with the client's team to ensure project alignment.
+ Engage and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and contractors.
+ Identify issues early and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
+ Ensure clear documentation and maintain confident client interaction through strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Utilize project management tools and technologies, such as Microsoft Project.
+ Be available and willing to be on-site during active construction, twice a week, in Baltimore and Columbia, MD.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience as an owner’s representative or General Contractor in project management.
+ Expertise in construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
+ Proficiency in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial tracking.
+ Strong organizational and planning skills.
+ Leadership and communication skills.
+ Experience with project management tools like Microsoft Project.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in commercial interiors and construction healthcare.
+ Experience managing multiple projects or a large interior project.
+ Excellent organizational skills and a self-starter mentality.
+ Efficient problem-solving abilities and team communication skills.
+ Experience as an owner’s representative is a plus.
Work Environment
This role offers a small company culture with the opportunity to work with high-profile clients. The position allows for hybrid work with the flexibility to work remotely for the majority of the week. On-site presence is required twice a week in Baltimore or Columbia, MD, when project issues arise or as needed. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding company, engaging with top clients in the DMV area.

This is a Contract position based out of Huntingtown, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
