Description We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across various platforms. This role requires a proactive individual with expertise in system administration and a commitment to optimizing performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily performance and functionality of IT systems, ensuring smooth operations.

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot VMware environments to maintain system efficiency.

• Administer and support Microsoft Office 365 applications, ensuring proper functionality and user accessibility.

• Perform regular system updates and backups to safeguard data and minimize downtime.

• Monitor network activities and address security vulnerabilities to protect against potential threats.

• Provide technical support to staff, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and system access.

• Collaborate with other teams to implement IT solutions that align with organizational goals.

• Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Evaluate and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and scalability. Requirements • Proven experience in system administration, including configuring and managing IT systems.

• Proficiency in VMware environments, with hands-on experience in virtualization technologies.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and its suite of applications.

• Familiarity with backup solutions and data recovery processes.

• Understanding of network security principles and practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and support users.
