    MANAGER, PRIVATE BRANDS QUALITY ASSURANCE

    Position Purpose:

    The principal purpose of this position is to oversee the activity of the quality assurance department, testing kitchen, staff, developing, implementing and maintaining a system of processes and reporting of quality and reliability testing for the organization.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities - Primary responsibilities listed in order of importance

    • Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that product meet the required deliverables of quality

    • Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products

    • Utilize internal/external customer feedback to look for patterns or problems and communicate findings

    • Be a liaison with Compliance & Regulatory group to ensure compliance and up to date practices are being followed

    • Identify areas of continuous improvement regarding team development and productivity

    • Develop & Manage reporting based on collecting, analyzing and summarizing data

    • Implement processes to improve, expedite or enhance strategic or tactical decisions

    • Make changes to existing standard operating procedures without VP Private Brand approval

     

    Minimum Requirements/Qualifications - Summary of knowledge, experience and education required.

     

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS/BFA) or equivalent.

    • Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance is required.

    • Job Related Skills: Candidate must demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Candidate must be deadline driven, work well under pressure and possess the ability to identify operational inefficiencies and make appropriate recommendations for correction.

    • Computer Skills: Must have strong skills and be proficient in, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of ISO22000:2018 a plus.

    • Office work environment, 40+ work hours per week
