Job Title: Night Shift Nurse Supervisor – Psychiatric Unit

Shift: 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM

Schedule: 5 x 8-hour shifts

Pay: $3,400 per week

Position Overview:

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Nurse Supervisor to join our psychiatric unit in Visalia, CA. This night-shift leadership role supports clinical operations and staff oversight, ensuring high-quality, holistic care for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide clinical supervision and support to nursing staff during night shifts

+ Ensure patient safety and adherence to care protocols

+ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs

+ Assist with staff development and training

+ Maintain accurate documentation and support regulatory compliance

Note: This role does not include direct responsibility for hiring, firing, financials, or peer review.

Required Qualifications:

+ Active California Registered Nurse (CA RN) license

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

+ Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification – can be completed on site

+ Minimum 3 years of acute psychiatric nursing experience

+ At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience
