Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about process improvement? We're seeking a** **Contract Activation & Payment Analyst** **to join our Contracts Administration team. In this critical role, you’ll help ensure accurate and timely payments under contractual agreements, support system operations, and partner with legal, finance, and operations to optimize contract performance and compliance.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of contracts, payment systems, and cross-functional collaboration — especially if you’re energized by problem-solving and process ownership in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
Activate New Contracts:** **Accurately input and manage new agreements in our contract management system.
Monitor Payments:** **Proactively validate and track payments to ensure accuracy; resolve discrepancies with stakeholders and legal counsel as needed.
Lead & Support Projects:** **Take ownership of assigned projects, including the design, implementation, and improvement of contract and payment processes.
Provide Expertise:** **Interpret and clarify contract payment terms for internal stakeholders across departments.
Drive Continuous Improvement:** **Participate in process optimization and system enhancements, including co-administration of the contract management system.
Partner Across Functions:** **Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Legal, and department leaders to evaluate opportunities, resolve issues, and ensure compliance.
Ensure Compliance:** **Stay current on applicable laws, regulations, and internal compliance guidelines related to contracts and payments.
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract analysis or related work.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Pro.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with healthcare contracts.
Familiarity with** **Symplr/Meditract** **contract management systems.
