    What you'll do...

     

    Design, develop and deploy advanced statistical and machine learning models from scratch to forecast customer behaviors and optimize product usage. Take the lead on the full modeling lifecycle – including data extraction, feature engineering, algorithm selection, performance evaluation, model implementation and monitoring in production environments. Apply comprehensive analyses on large and complex datasets and transform results into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Create new ETLs, tables, reports and dashboards to enable business partners to find and interact with data seamlessly. Design robust experimentation frameworks, define clear evaluation metrics, design and execute experiments to validate hypotheses and inform strategic initiatives. Collaborate with business analysts, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure data-driven decision-making and successful projects execution.

     

    What you'll bring to the team...

     

    Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.

    Three years of data science or quantitative analysis to include:

    + Developing and validating predictive models.

    + Statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.

    + Statistical modeling, machine learning, and deep learning techniques.

    + Regression, classification and clustering algorithms.

    + Extracting and manipulating data using SQL.

    + Distributed data processing using Apache Spark.

    + Programming in Python for data analysis, model development, and algorithm implementation with libraries like NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, LightGBM, and XGBoost.

    + Data visualizations using matplotlib, and seaborn.

    One year of which must include:

    + Designing, developing and deploying model pipelines into production environments.

    + Utilizing deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.

    + Designing and executing experiments to evaluate performance and validate hypotheses.

    + Building and maintaining ETL pipelines for large-scale data processing.

     

    This position allows for remote work from anywhere in the U.S.

     

    Pay Range Information

     

    The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.

     

    Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.

     

    Pay Range

     

    $155,000.00 - $175,700.00/Yr .
