Overview
We are looking for a Vice President, Media Strategy who is not only a strategic thinker, but a data-driven leader who knows how to go beyond the surface. This person must understand the rigor of data, know how to pull and synthesize data from multiple sources, and most importantly, have the critical thinking skills to uncover insights, spot themes, and translate findings into actionable media strategies.
You’ll lead media strategy from a global perspective for one of the world’s most iconic technology brands, focused on handheld phones and mobile products. You’ll collaborate closely with analytics, planning, investment, and creative teams, and bring a high standard of strategic discipline and curiosity to every brief.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and integrate media strategies across global markets, underpinned by data analytics, cultural competence, and alignment with business objectives.
+ Extract and interpret insights from a variety of data sources including first-party data, syndicated tools, media performance metrics, social listening platforms, and research studies.
+ Apply critical thinking to data, identifying patterns and underlying themes to inform creative and strategic direction.
+ Translate data findings into clear, compelling narratives and integrated media strategies that resonate with clients and internal teams.
+ Partner with analytics and research teams to design and interpret measurement frameworks, ensuring insights continue to evolve post-launch.
+ Mentor and manage a team of strategists and planners, fostering a culture of analytical rigor, curiosity, and strategic clarity.
+ Represent the strategic voice in internal and external meetings, elevating the quality of thinking across the agency.
Qualifications
+ 10+ years of media strategy or related experience in an agency or consultancy environment.
+ Proven experience building robust, multi-channel media strategies (digital, traditional, emerging platforms).
+ Demonstrated ability to work with and interpret data from multiple sources, with the ability to interpret what lies beneath the surface — not just presenting data but uncovering what it means.
+ Clear communicator and strategic storyteller who can distill complexity into compelling strategic narratives.
+ Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, guide, and inspire a team.

The benefits offerings listed are available to eligible U.S. Based employees, are reviewed on an annual basis, and are governed by the terms of the applicable plan documents.
Compensation Range: $154,200- $230,460 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
