    **About the Role** : Director of People and Culture

     

    The Director works collaboratively with the leadership team of the network they serve to provide top-level human resource process and practices to the organization. The Director will implement consistent, but flexible people processes that will ensure the recruitment, selection, development, engagement and retention of team members. This position works collaboratively with leaders across the network to make sound, legal and right people-related decisions, ensure appropriate staffing levels and quality standards are met, and ensure all people-related processes are in full compliance with required regulations, laws and standards.

    As a Director of People and Culture, you will oversee:

    + **Recruitment & Onboarding** – Manage full-cycle hiring, orientation, and benefits enrollment.

    + **Compliance & Records** – Maintain personnel files and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local requirements (OSHA, FMLA, FLSA, etc.).

    + **Employee Relations & Performance** – Advise leaders, handle investigations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and terminations.

    + **Workers’ Compensation & Safety** – Oversee claims, accident investigations, safety programs, and return-to-work processes.

    + **Training & Development** – Implement learning programs, identify development needs, and support leadership training.

    + **Metrics & Collaboration** – Track/report people metrics and partner with leadership and Network Support Center on strategies and best practices.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field.

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources.

    + Must have a solid working knowledge of general HR practices, including but not limited to team member relations, compliance, general benefits administration, employment law and overall business operations.

    + Prior experience in a health care or hospitality company is highly preferred.

    + Solid project management skills are preferred.

    Qualifications

    Education

    Required

    + Bachelors or better in Human Resource Administration

    Experience

    Required

    + 3 years: Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources

    Preferred

    + Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to present a professional approach to problem solving at all times.

    + Solid project management skills.

    + Ability to organize and manage multiple functions and schedules under stress and with changing priorities with the ability to meet ongoing deadlines required.
