The Admissions Representative's responsibilities include:

+ Responsible for census management and efficient admissions to facility.

+ Touring prospective customers and explaining facility objectives.

+ Meeting and interviewing new patients, explaining insurance benefits and bill of rights.

+ Obtaining informed consent for medical record and financial folder.

+ Inputting patient demographics to computer program and place face sheets on chart.

+ Verifying primary insurance benefits and authorizing admissions to facility when applicable

+ Communicating with facility departments regarding patient information.

+ Identifying physicians to attend.

Position Details:

+ **Location:** Morton Plant Rehab – Clearwater, FL

+ **Status:** Part time, 24 hours per week

+ **Shift Hours:** Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

+ **Weekend Requirement:** Every

Education:

+ Required High School Diploma or GED

+ Preferred Associate’s Degree

Experience:

+ Required 2 years’ experience Related Field

+ Preferred 2 years’ experience with medical insurance/Medicare

+ Preferred 2 years’ experience in Skilled Nursing
