    BayCare Health System** is currently seeking an **Assistant Nurse Manager** to join our outstanding and compassionate **Pedi GI/Neuro** unit at **St. Joseph's Hospital Children's Hospital.

     

    Position Description:** **Assistant Nurse Manager

     

    The Assistant Nurse Manager (Supervisor) is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills. Supports the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues, ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring , counseling and terminating process. Acts as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information. Performs other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    + Registered Nurse license

    + BLS

    + 2 years RN acute care experience

    + BSN or BS in health related field

    + 1 year Leadership experience preferred

    + RN Pediatric experience Preferred

    Status:** **Full Time, Exempt: Yes

     

    Shift Hours:** **6:15PM - 7:00AM

     

    Shift:** **Shift 3

     

    Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

     

    Weekend Work:** **Every Other

    On Call:** **No
