    Job Summary and Qualifications

     

    We are seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President of Data Analytics and Compliance to spearhead the development, implementation, and maintenance of data analytics processes, policies, education, and reporting. This pivotal role will champion a proactive compliance program across the organization. The successful candidate will excel at identifying meaningful outliers, performing causal analysis, and collaborating with key stakeholders to proactively address compliance risks and ensure continuous regulatory readiness.

     

    + Provide strategic and management leadership for compliance and data analytics initiatives, driving the organization towards data-informed decisions and robust compliance practices.

    + Oversee the creation, deployment, and maintenance of regulatory and compliance metrics, education, and training programs, ensuring comprehensive understanding and adherence across the organization.

    + Identify and direct actions to address key compliance risks based on internal and external metrics, proactively mitigating potential issues and safeguarding the organization.

    + Serve as a subject matter expert and industry-level leader on key company initiatives, providing invaluable insights and guidance to drive success.

    + Maintain strong relationships with key executives and leaders throughout the organization, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring alignment on compliance and data analytics strategies.

    + Provide in-depth data analysis of identified metrics, interpret data with precision, perform thorough causal analysis, and report findings to appropriate corporate entities, enabling informed decision-making at all levels.

    + Manage a high-performing team that evaluates data analytics, including identifying key data metrics, determining meaningful outliers, and collaborating with facilities/entities to evaluate outliers and meticulously document outcomes, including corrective action plans or comprehensive explanations.

    + Provide critical input into associated policies and procedures, internal education programs, system updates, compliance edits, tools, and resources to effectively address findings and enhance overall compliance.

    + Evaluate review results to determine if trends and/or systemic issues exist, and facilitate decisive action steps for problem resolution, root cause analysis, and future risk mitigation, ensuring continuous improvement and proactive risk management.

    + Monitor performance meticulously and communicate with appropriate parties to ensure regulatory system readiness and optimal use of installed technology, maximizing efficiency and effectiveness.

    + Identify improvement opportunities proactively; develop, direct, implement, monitor, and revise processes to facilitate compliance, driving continuous enhancement of compliance practices.

    + Identify and share best demonstrated practices across the organization; stay abreast of current practice standards; share insights with divisions and across the company; facilitate standardization, as appropriate, promoting consistency and excellence.

    + Drive strategic and tactical development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance metrics, ensuring accurate and insightful measurement of compliance performance.

    + Provide strategic guidance on key company initiatives, contributing to the success of critical organizational endeavors.

    + Communicate routinely to department leadership and key stakeholders any significant issues, status of projects, barriers encountered, and successes achieved, ensuring transparency and alignment.

    + Some travel may be required – up to 25%

    Qualifications:

    + 10 years healthcare experience required

    + 7 years in a leadership/management role required.

    + Bachelor’s degree required.

    + Compliance-related certification preferred.
