ABOU T THE ROLE
The Business Development Executive works in the Global Sourcing team within Prime Line. The Global Sourcing team handles custom-made products sourced globally and tailor made for the customer. The Business Development Executive grows sales and maximizes gross margin in his/her territory. The BDE builds and maintains customer relationships through creativity, fast response, and excellent customer service. The BDE takes responsibility for managing orders and delivering to customer expectations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
+ Meet or exceed sales and margin goals as provided by management
+ Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
+ Demonstrate frequent sales activities such as outbound calling, virtual meetings, and in-person visits with customers
+ Compete for and win orders, close deals
+ Follow up aggressively with customer on opportunities
+ Collaborate well with Prime Line’s inside and field sales reps and others internally
+ Provide creative ideas and sourcing solutions to customers
+ Partner with China office buyers
+ Leverage overseas suppliers to meet customer requirements
+ Contribute to the team and help other team members
Qualifications
WHAT WE’ RE LOOK I N G FOR
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred
+ Track record of success in sales
+ Relationships with promotional product distributors preferred
+ Familiarity with promotional hard goods preferred
+ Understanding of global sourcing and logistics preferred
+ Quantitative skills for quoting/costing
+ Team player
Travel
+ Travel to trade shows, customer offices or team meetings
