Danfoss has a great opportunity for a self-driven, results-oriented Manufacturing Engineer student to gain real-world experience in an internship with Danfoss. Students seeking variety, challenge, and an opportunity to build problem-solving and people skills will benefit from our internship. This is an internship opportunity located at our facility in Easley, SC. Prospective candidates must be open to working full-time hours (i.e. 40 hours/week) and willing to work at least 3 months.

What You’ll Be Doing

+ Help improve assembly line layouts and flow

+ Provide detailed data collection and analysis (time studies, material flow, waste analysis)

+ Assist in implementing new equipment on assembly lines (including performing capability studies)

+ Design and implement Poka-Yokes on assembly line

+ Implement manufacturing controls on assembly line

+ Help design and implement process improvements on assembly line

+ Help improve ergonomics throughout assembly process

What We're Looking For

+ Major: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Ag Engineering

+ Level of Education: Graduate student preferred

+ Work availabilit: Minimum 40hrs/week Spring Semester

+ Able to interact with all levels of organization (Shop floor to Management)

+ Familiar with basic hand tools

+ CAD and simulation experience a plus
