    Associate Account Executive

    Job Description:

    As our Associate Account Executive, you’ll play a key role in showcasing how Sage’s intelligent expense management platform solves real-world problems for finance teams. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, consultative selling, and customer empathy. Every day, you will sell alongside our direct sales team, providing product and business process knowledge throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, solution sales strategy, and creative/practical demonstrations of the Solution. To thrive in this role, you will engage with prospects to understand their expense management challenges and demonstrate how Sage can solve them.

     

    *This is a hybrid position only in the Atlanta-Ponce City office or Lawrenceville office 3 days a week*

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver tailored product demos and technical walkthroughs to finance and IT stakeholders.

    • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and gather customer feedback.

    • Respond to technical questions during the sales cycle, including integrations, data security, and compliance.

    • Assist in RFP/RFI responses and solution design for clients.

    • Maintain accurate records in CRM and report on pipeline and sales metrics.

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in SaaS or fintech.

    • Familiarity with expense management, accounting workflows, or ERP systems.

    • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts and exhibit these concepts in presentations and webinars.

    • Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot.

    • Ability to travel at least 10% for trade shows and customer events.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud-based platforms.

    • Experience selling to finance departments or mid-market/enterprise clients.

    • Knowledge of accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or Xero.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
