    Description

The Amazon Stores Learning & Development (ASLD) team mission is to develop leaders for the Worldwide Amazon Stores organization. We challenge and empower learners to invent new ways of leading, equipping them to adapt and respond to the changing world. We provide functional training and leadership development through a combination of eLearning, in-person experiences, virtual training, and functional cohorts/networks.

We're looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our Global Leadership Programs team. This role will help shape how we develop Amazon's next generation of senior leaders through innovative learning experiences and technology-forward solutions. You'll be instrumental in creating and executing a comprehensive learning pathway for leaders, mapping essential competencies to development offerings, and pioneering new approaches to leadership development.

Success in this role requires embodying key Amazon Leadership Principles: You must be able to Earn Trust by building deep, authentic partnerships with senior stakeholders and influencing without authority. Your ability to Think Big will be critical as you re-imagine leadership development for the AI era, including integrating generative AI both as a development tool and a core leadership capability. Through Invent & Simplify, you'll test new approaches to learning, fail fast, learn quickly, and scale what works – always focusing on mechanisms that can create lasting impact.

    Key job responsibilities:

Design and deliver high-impact leadership training, with focus on building future-ready capabilities and comprehensive learning pathways aligned to Amazon's leadership expectations

Pioneer the integration of emerging technologies and AI leadership principles into our development offerings, while testing new training formats and modalities

Cultivate and prepare senior leaders as guest speakers and program champions, facilitate training experiences with credibility, and develop robust evaluation strategies to measure impact

Partner across ASLD to ensure seamless training experiences and alignment with broader leadership development strategy while influencing key stakeholders to invest in innovative approaches

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in managing multiple projects, demonstrate comfort with ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where they can help build Amazon's next generation of senior leaders. They should be excited about exploring and implementing new learning technologies and methodologies while maintaining focus on practical business impact.
