Job Summary:

The Annealing Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring annealing furnaces and related equipment to heat-treat metal wire and strip products. This role ensures that materials meet specified mechanical and metallurgical properties by following precise temperature and time cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Set up and operate annealing furnaces according to production specifications.

+ Monitor temperature controls, timers, and gauges to ensure proper heat treatment.

+ Load and unload coils or strips of metal into furnaces using hoists or forklifts.

+ Inspect materials before and after annealing for quality assurance.

+ Record process data and maintain accurate production logs.

+ Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

+ Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.

+ Collaborate with quality control and production teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or metal processing environment preferred.

+ Familiarity with annealing processes and furnace operation is a plus.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work orders.

+ Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

**Pay Details:** $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
