    Job Title: Sr. Project Manager

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager with a strong experience in managing complex, multi-year infrastructure projects. This role requires hands-on leadership from project initiation through closeout, with the ability to oversee 20–30 concurrent schedules and coordinate across multiple disciplines. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategic project management, enterprise systems, and schedule integration, rather than an experience in construction management or general contracting.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage and lead complex, multi-year infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout.

    + Oversee 20–30 concurrent schedules and coordinate across multiple disciplines.

    + Utilize data analysis, scheduling software, and project management tools to ensure successful project delivery.

    + Develop and manage project schedules, cost estimates, and project planning.

    + Communicate project status effectively to stakeholders using various platforms, including Oracle and P6.

    Essential Skills

    + Proven experience managing multi-year, multi-faceted projects.

    + Strong understanding of project lifecycle management.

    + Experience with ERP systems, ideally Oracle.

    + Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other scheduling software.

    + Ability to work on-site in Reno or Las Vegas as required.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Familiarity with Primavera P6 is a plus.

    + Experience with testimony, transmission line, and substation projects.

    + Understanding of rate systems.

    Work Environment

    Join a small, dynamic team of five within the Distribution Design team, building a legacy within NV Energy. The Major Projects division offers a dedicated office space inside the NVE building, complete with offices, cubicles, and a kitchen area. The team fosters a great culture and strong teamwork.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
