    Asbestos Investigator – Field & Compliance Focus (NYC)

     

    Hiring an Investigator with 3+ years of experience to support a diverse portfolio of environmental compliance and inspection projects across New York City. This role offers a mix of fieldwork and office-based responsibilities, with opportunities to contribute to meaningful work that supports public health, safety, and sustainability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Conduct environmental fieldwork and inspections across the five boroughs.

    + Assist in preparing project plans, evaluating data, and drafting reports under guidance.

    + Perform site reconnaissance, document reviews, and support regulatory compliance efforts.

    + Collaborate with project teams to meet contractual and regulatory deadlines.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field (preferred, not required)

    + Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental health and safety, with a focus on compliance.

    + HAZWOPER certification required.

    + Experience writing ACP-5 forms.

    + Strong understanding of environmental regulations and inspection protocols.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
