Adecco is hiring immediately for a Mechanical Engineer for a local client in Rochester, NY. Pay is $76.00/hr. - $120.00/hr.

Duties:

• The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for mechanical design/packaging electronics.

• Will be required to meet with project stake holders on a regular basis to understand technical issues and develop solutions.

• Independently, develops and implements concepts for range of significantly complex product issues and engineering solutions.

• Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects and spearhead research and development of new technologies, as appropriate.

• Problem identification and troubleshooting a wide range of significantly complex engineering problems.

• Specify or perform significantly complex engineering analysis.

• Interface with internal and external customers regarding significantly complex engineering issues to address customers High Value Problems (HVP) for a range of products.

• Generate product specifications. Define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering tests.

• Specify and review engineering documentation and engineering processes.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in mechanical engineering and design

• Experienced in 3D CAD systems (NX) and Teamcenter is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with mechanical development and design of high voltage products

• Experience in analysis, testing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and root-causing electro-mechanical systems.

• Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related software

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

• Team player and have the ability and self-motivation to learn quickly and independently.

• Demonstrate strong technical leadership skills and a commitment to delivering high quality products while adhering to strict deadlines.

• Foster an environment that welcomes and encourages new and innovative design concepts, inventions, patents, and product opportunities for improvement.

**Pay Details:** $76.00 to $120.00 per hour
