    Adecco is hiring for a Material Handler I position with our client in Gresham, OR!

     

    If you have warehouse experience and material handling skills, this is a great opportunity to join a dynamic logistics team supporting critical operations.

     

    **Pay Rate starts at:** $23.50 - $27.50/hr (pay depends on shift)

    **Location:** Onsite – Gresham, OR

    **Schedule:** Flexible shifts available with possible overtime

    What you’ll do on a typical day:

    + Load and unload materials within the warehouse or storage facility

    + Perform picking, packing, scanning, kitting, or counting of products

    + Follow the 7S program to maintain a clean and organized environment

    + Use barcode scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)

    + Work safely to protect yourself and your team members

    What you need to succeed at GXO:

    At a minimum, you’ll need:

    + Experience operating material handling equipment

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

    + Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods

    + Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull

    + Use of hands and fingers to handle tools or equipment

    + Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments

    It’d be great if you also have:

    + Availability to work flexible schedules, including overtime when needed

    + 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment

    + Experience using handheld scanners

    + A positive attitude and teamwork skills

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    Additional Hiring Requirements:

    + **Assessments:** None required

    + **Interview:** No interview required

    + **Background Check:** GXO Hourly Background Package

    + **Drug Screen:** Not required

    + **ITAR Compliance:** No

    + **RBA Compliance:** Yes

    + **PPE:** Composite Toe Shoes required (no metal allowed)
